Mercer Island public schools are exceptional because our community values and invests in them. For generations, these schools have prepared students for success — and many alumni return as parents, choosing the same high-quality education for their own children. That shared commitment keeps our schools strong.
Each year, the Mercer Island Schools Foundation leads two community-wide campaigns — Fall All in for Kids and Spring for Schools — to fund one unified annual plan that supports priorities across every school.
Fall All in for Kids
September – December
Fall All in for Kids launches our annual funding effort and builds early momentum toward fully funding the district’s unified list of priorities. Through this community-wide campaign, the Foundation raises support for the same strategic programs and initiatives that guide our work all year long.
The fall season includes Denim & Diamonds, our signature community fundraiser.
Spring for Schools
January – June
Spring for Schools continues our annual funding effort and helps close the gap toward fully funding the same district-wide priorities identified at the start of the year. This campaign provides another opportunity for families and community members to invest in our shared commitment to excellence.
The spring season includes Breakfast of Champions, our largest annual fundraiser, held each April.
Together, these campaigns ensure our schools have the resources they need to remain exceptional. Every gift strengthens our shared commitment to excellence and supports every Mercer Island student.
